Once when He was going for a bath (age: 13yrs.)
Lord Swaminarayan appeared
before Him in divine form and said, "Muktaraj! You are a Mukta from times immemorial. I have sent you here for ultimate liberty of millions of jivas and
destine them to my divine abode: Akshardham".
Spiritual development is not dependent on literacy, however, Jaga Swami; at the
age of 11yrs., thought knowledge of writing and reading should be had to complement my
sadhana. The same night Shrihari gave Him darshan and said, "Bhaktraj! You know
everything, still, let me start teaching you ABCD." Thus Jaga Swami was taught ABCD by
Shrihari. Thereafter Jaga Swami came in contact with Anadi Mahamukta Gopalanand
Swami. Shri Bhagatji
Maharaj, Shri Jaga Swami Maharaj, and
Shri Jina Bhakt used to get guidance from Gopalanand Swami. Some days before he left this mortal land he
strongly recommended all three to have samagam of Mool Akshar Murti Gunatitanad
Swami, who thereafter till last moved like a shadow with them, like a shield to
them and he transformed them into the divine form of Shrihari. By every thought, deed, talk Jaga Swami immensely pleased not only Gunatitanand
Swami - His Guru but also every satsangi, sadhu ect. till he breathed last.
Shastriji Maharaj had blessings of both the Satpursh; that is Bhagatji Maharaj and Jaga Swami Maharaj, and he was able to earn their immense blessings. Jaga Swami asked Shastriji Maharaj to built temples and establish the idols of Akshar and Purshottam. Jaga Swami also blessed him that all his wishes and desires will be
fulfilled by Him. Thus, Jaga Swami Maharaj through Shartiji Maharaj laid down the foundation stone of Akshar Purshotam Sanstha.
Shastriji Maharaj often used to quote that “Bhagatji Maharaj and Jaga Swami are my two eyes. I cannot differentiate which one is more important, for me both are of equal important and respect “.
